Returns

Question: Can I return my purchase?

Answers:

For online purchase: Unfortunately, we do not accept returns. However, you may exchange your items within 14 calendar days of the delivery date. We accept exchanges for items that are unworn and unwashed, at any of our physical stores. Please refer to the Contact us page for store locations.

You will be refunded with an online gift code equivalent to the purchase price of each returned item(s), valid for a 6 months. Delivery fees, if any, will not be refunded.

For store purchase: Purchases made in Alit Pleat stores cannot be returned. However, you can easily exchange your item(s) at our stores. 

Credit card refunds will be made onto the original mode of payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days depends on the issuing bank of the credit card. 

 

Question: I don't want to receive my order, what should I do?

Answer:  You may cancel your order at any time before the order has been shipped from our warehouse. Once you've received the shipping confirmation it will not be possible to cancel your order.

Local delivery

Question: Where do you deliver?

Answer: We currently only deliver within the UAE.

We are starting international shipping shortly, so please keep checking because we might start delivering to your country sooner than you think! 

 

Question: When will I receive my order?

Answer: Upon order confirmation, your order will take up to 3 business days or earlier for preparations and delivery by our local courier partner.

 

Question: I haven't received my order. Who can I contact?

Answer: Leave us a Whatsapp message at +971529343687 or email us at info@alitapleat.com and we will check on your order.

 

Questions: What are your delivery charges?

Answers:

Local delivery: Local delivery charges are AED20 per order for most parts of UAE. There is free delivery for orders more than AED350. 

Please note there are certain "out of service" areas in UAE that we may not be able to deliver or may incur a higher delivery charge, kindly approach one of our friendly staff to enquire if your delivery address is under this list.

 

International delivery: We currently only deliver within the UAE.

Looking after pleats

Question: How can I clean my pleated clothing?

Answer: Wash at a water temperature of 30°C or below. Place the clothing in a washing net bag and wash on your machine's quick wash setting, or press gently if hand washing.

After gently spin drying, unfold the garment in the direction of the pleats and lay flat to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.

Avoid drying with a tumble dryer or other household dryer. Do not use fabric softener.

 

Question: How do I store my pleated clothing?

Answer: Roll your garment in the direction of the pleats when storing.

 

Question: What else should I take note of?

Answer: Do not tumble dry. Do not iron or steam press as the fabric is not designed to withstand heat and may lose its shape. Do not use detergents that contain bleach when washing whites and light colours.
